On 25 April 2024, Prof. Alex Mihailidis, Associate Vice-President (International Partnerships), and Ms. Rikki Zhao, Director of China Partnership, from University of Toronto, paid a visit to CUHK-Shenzhen. Prof. Shiping Zhu, Vice President (External and Student Affairs), Prof. Lawrence Khoo, Assistant Dean of SME (Undergraduate Studies), Prof. Hugh Thomas of SME, and Prof. Simon Pun, Associate College Master of Harmonia, hosted the guests. Both parties engaged in discussions to explore opportunities for further collaboration between the two institutions.

Guests visited the Center for Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (CIDE) and learned about stories of student entrepreneurship in CUHK-Shenzhen.
