On 15 April 2025, Ms. Nichole Barbe, Director of Graduate Admissions at Columbia Engineering, and Ms. Jenny Choy, Graduate Admission Officer at Columbia Engineering, visited CUHK-Shenzhen. The delegation was hosted by Prof. Shiping Zhu, Vice President of External and Student Affairs, and Prof. Xiaoqiang Cai, Associate Vice President for Education and CUHK Affairs. During the visit, representatives from the School of Management and Economics, School of Science and Engineering, School of Data Science, and School of Medicine met with the delegates to discuss ways to deepen mutual collaboration.

During the visit, Ms. Nichole Barbe hosted an information session on the Master’s and PhD programs at Columbia Engineering.

The delegates also engaged in a friendly exchange with the students of the first cohort of the Columbia Elite Class.
