According to national and university-level regulations, international students are required to purchase adequate and comprehensive insurance covering the duration of their stay in the Chinese mainland. Before entering the Chinese mainland, incoming exchange/visiting students at CUHKSZ should purchase an insurance package via https://www.lxbx.net/. The insurance fee is CNY 400 for half a year and CNY 800 for one year.

Incoming exchange/visiting students cannot register at CUHKSZ without proof of sufficient insurance cover as required.

If you plan to travel outside the Chinese mainland during your study, it is highly recommended that you should have other insurances to cover your travelling durations and destinations.
