About Study Abroad
Study Abroad Programs provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a fresh academic setting, explore diverse cultures, expand your global perspectives, enhance your language and social skills, and challenge yourself in unfamiliar environments to foster self-confidence. These programs are organized by the Office of Academic Links (OAL), which collaborates with various institutions worldwide, including International Summer Programs, Exchange & Visiting Programs, and Collaborative Degree Programs.

International Summer Programs: Available for first, second and the third-year undergraduate students, as well as full-time postgraduates. Students spend 1-2 months during the summer taking credit-bearing courses or research projects at host institutions (Click to read The Regulation of CUHKSZ Students Participating in International Summer Programs).
Exchange/Visiting Programs: Available for second and third-year undergraduate students, as well as full-time postgraduates. Students can spend either one semester or one full academic year studying academic courses or participating in research projects at host institutions (Click to read The Regulation for CUHKSZ Students Participating in Exchange & Visiting Programs).
Collaborative Degree Programs: These joint undergraduate/postgraduate programs offer various modes, including 3+2, 4+1, etc. Upon successfully completing the program, students will be awarded a bachelor's degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a master's (or doctoral) degree from the host university. Undergraduate students meeting the program requirements can apply. For more detailed information, please consult the School.
