Experience

1. The course content is rich, including cutting-edge subjects; the teaching form is novel and interesting, and many guest guests are invited to the classroom to share industry knowledge and help broaden students’ horizons

2. The school has abundant resources, and activities such as career open days can help students obtain industry information and determine their career interests

3. Dutch students are good at English. You will not meet language problem in a English-teaching environment.

4. Rotterdam is a very modern and safe city, I call it "Little Shenzhen in Europe", and the living experience is excellent!

Learning

1. Be sure to prepare textbooks (first-hand textbooks are expensive, you can buy second-hand textbooks). Most courses need to read textbooks by yourself, which is a test of independent learning ability! Preview before class, the degree of mastery of textbooks determines the degree of absorption and internalization of classroom knowledge to a certain extent.

2. Actively participate in the class and actively ask/answer questions. The classroom atmosphere of RSM is perfect. The professors/classmates are very friendly, and students are encouraged to think independently and critically.

3. Make full use of study groups, actively communicate with international students, expand your global vision, and become good friends with them!

4. The courses provided for exchange students are mainly management courses/basic courses in economics and management. It is recommended that students majoring in management and freshmen and sophomores of the School of Economics participate

Life Guide

1. Learn to use the Internet to collect information: use Google to see the road, go to the official website to book tickets, check the lives of foreign friends on twitter and Instagram

2. The biggest problem in Rotterdam is renting a house. Generally, schools will provide student apartments for exchange students. This is the most economical and affordable option, but if you want to grab it, you must always pay attention to the school’s email! If you miss the student apartment, you can only rent a house by yourself.

3. Living in Rotterdam, you must learn to apply for various cards: transportation cards, museum cards, gym cards... Subscription can save a lot of money!

4. Studying in Europe, you must travel to various countries! Plan your course time in advance and use your vacation to travel!
