我觉得交换项目的精髓在于勇敢走出舒适圈并积极加入挑战。过程肯定会有很多意想不到的波折，但是最后总会有好的结果，并且时常会伴随着想不到的收获。北卡教堂山作为一所公立大学，它的包容性以及可能性都非常强，课业压力也没有很大，可以给大家很多空间去追求自己的目标。在交换这段期间，我最大的收获是清晰的明白了自己的学术热情与追求，并且在很多教授与老师的帮助下更加坚定了未来的发展方向。
I believe the essence of a study abroad program lies in bravely stepping out of one's comfort zone and actively embracing challenges. The journey may certainly involve unexpected twists and turns, but in the end, there will be positive outcomes and often surprising rewards. As a public university, UNC Chapel Hill is known for its inclusivity and abundance of opportunities. The academic pressure is not overwhelming, allowing students ample space to pursue their goals. During this exchange period, my greatest achievement was gaining a clear understanding of my academic passions and aspirations. With the help of many professors and teachers, I have become even more resolute in my future career path.
从个人经验来说，北卡教堂山是一所很安全的学校，这一学期内我们没有遇到任何安全问题，学校也只通报过两起距离校园有段距离的案件。北卡州的生活水平比较接近于平均线，房租以及日常用品吃穿没有很贵但也没有很便宜。学校食堂也有meal plan。在课业方面，我会建议大家在交流交换前多在校内上一些专业必修或者专修课，在交换期间可以不被学分所压迫，有更多自由去探索其他课程。
From personal experience, UNC Chapel Hill is a very safe university. During this semester, we did not encounter any safety issues, and the school only reported two incidents that occurred at a distance from the campus. The cost of living in North Carolina is relatively average, with rent and daily necessities being neither too expensive nor too cheap. UNC also has meal plans for dining halls. In terms of academics, I would recommend taking some major-required or elective courses at CUHKSZ before participating in the study abroad program. This way, during the exchange period, you won't be burdened by credit requirements and will have more freedom to explore other courses.
